In loving memory of our beloved Zoey, who graced our lives from December 23, 2023, until her peaceful departure on December 26, 2025. Zoey was no ordinary pup; she was the heart and soul of our family, a delightful little being wrapped in fur, weighing just five pounds but possessing the spirit of a one-hundred-pound German shepherd. With her sassy personality, she ruled the roost with a bark that echoed throughout our home, demanding attention and treats with a voice that was impossible to ignore.

A cherished companion in every sense, Zoey was not just a pet but our best friend and a grief companion during life's ups and downs. She had a remarkable way of making our lives feel whole and complete, filling our hearts with joy and our days with laughter. Those bright little eyes watched over us as she lounged on the back of the couch, fiercely keeping guard of our home, or snuggled beside us, claiming her spot on our pillows at night.

Our memories are filled with the joy she brought; from our cherished month at the beach in Port Aransas, where the sun bathed her in golden light, to the long walks we enjoyed in Ruidoso, where she explored the world with uncontainable curiosity. Zoey had a particular fondness for bacon and chicken treats, a sign of her playful character. Her prized possession was a lamb chop stuffed toy, a loyal companion that saw many adventures together.

She was loved dearly by her family: Jalisa, Alayna, Ted, and her fur sister Gracie, who shared countless cuddles and playful moments. The house feels quieter without her loud and persistent voice demanding what she desired, but the warmth of her spirit will forever remain in our hearts.

As we remember Zoey, we carry with us the joy she spread and the love she gave so freely. Our darling sassy pup, who ruled the roost, will always be a part of our family story. Rest in peace, sweet Zoey, knowing you will be missed more than words can express.
