Vivian Gipson

Vivian, the beloved companion and cherished member of the Gipson family, left this world too soon on December 7, 2025, at the tender age of 11. Born on July 27, 2014, her life was a joyous whirlwind of cuddles, laughter, and countless adventures.

Vivian, lovingly known as Vivi, was the beautiful pup born to her first foster momma, Molly, who found her way into their hearts while heavily pregnant and hoping for a brighter future. As one of eleven lively puppies, Vivian wasted no time making her mark on the world, ultimately becoming not just a pet but a true member of their family. She and Molly opened their hearts and home, welcoming numerous other foster dogs and puppies into their lives, teaching us all the meaning of unconditional love.

Vivian had an infectious spirit. She never met a stranger and was adored by everyone she encountered. Her warmth extended even to her fellow four-legged friends, as she effortlessly bonded with all the cats and dogs in the neighborhood, although she held a less amiable view towards squirrels that frequently occupied her outdoor adventures. She was remarkably nosy, often digging through partially open backpacks as if she were on a mission to uncover hidden treasures for all to envy.

Her love for the outdoors was profound—whether it was zooming about chasing squirrels alongside her dear mom or basking in the sun during lazy afternoons, Vivian found joy in the simplest of pleasures. Her affection for food was equally profound; no treat was left uneaten, not even the dental chews her mom thought she might disregard. Vivian was a bit of a mischievous escape artist as well—no fence could contain her wondrous spirit. Visits to the neighbor’s house to peer into the windows were far too enticing for her to resist, and her adventurous nature led her to some memorable escapades, including a grand detour with Molly that ended up at doggy jail, where she greeted her family with the biggest grin upon their arrival.

Vivian shared a special connection with her family, particularly with her sisters, Morgan and Makaylee, and her brother Hunter, who brought love and adventure to her days. Morgan and Vivian had an inseparable bond, growing up side by side, sharing heaps of fond memories. Their nightly ritual of snuggling was a highlight of Vivi’s days—taking over the blanket and claiming all the pillows, leaving the side of the bed feeling empty now.

She is survived by her loving family: Her mom and dad, Brandon and Carrie, her sisters Makaylee and Morgan, her brother Hunter and his wife Holly and little Lucas. Her Fur mom Holly, along with those of her fur siblings—Prince Charming, Tater Tot, and Chloe—mourn the loss of their beloved Vivian.

As we reflect on the fond memories Vivian gifted us, we are filled with gratitude for the love she spread and the joy she brought into our lives. Though she has crossed the rainbow bridge, she will forever hold a place in our hearts. Vivian, your spirit will be cherished and remembered always. Thank you for being our sweet girl.
