It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of Tyra, a beloved companion and exceptional hunting dog, who graced our lives from August 15, 2015, until her final chase on January 3, 2026. Tyra was not just a dog; she was a devoted friend, a loyal partner in the field, and an irreplaceable member of the Loya pack.
Born with a spirit that could match the wildest of adventures, Tyra’s personality shone bright with loyalty and friendliness. Her zest for life was infectious. On countless hunting excursions, she proved time and again that she was the best hunting dog one could ever wish for, relentlessly pursuing each challenge that came her way. Her boundless energy and keen instincts made her a standout in the field, earning the admiration of all who had the pleasure of hunting alongside her.
Outside of her admirable hunting skills, Tyra relished the simple joys of life. She had an undeniable love for deer bones, which always brought a sparkle to her eye and a tail that wagged with fervor. Whether she was out in the woods tracking a scent or curled up at home, Tyra had a unique ability to make every moment count. Her playful spirit and gentle nature endeared her to everyone they met, creating connections that would last a lifetime.
Tyra leaves behind her devoted dad, Michael Loya, who provided her with endless love and companionship throughout her life. Her fur son, Rogue and a lively pack of 12 other hunting dogs, who will miss her joyous energy she brought to their adventures.
We will remember her not just as a remarkable hunting dog but as an unyielding companion. May her spirit continue to inspire joy and love in the hearts of those who knew her. We cherish every memory and celebrate the beautiful bond we shared with our sweet Tyra. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace, dear friend.
