Stevie Ignacio Nieto, affectionately known as Peevie, baked potato, and Stevie pants, was a beloved English bulldog who brought immense joy and comfort into the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Born on January 24, 2015, he became an integral part of his family when he was adopted on December 13, 2020.
From the very first moment they met, Stevie captured the heart of his mom, Jocelyn. His presence felt like a warm embrace, a guiding light through some of her darkest days. Stevie was both playful and lazy, embodying a unique blend of character that offered joyous laughter and companionship. His endearing snorts and snores could easily be likened to those of an old man, creating an atmosphere of comfort and affection in the home.
Stevie had a notorious penchant for all food, with bacon strips being his favorite treat. He often showcased his mischievous side by knocking over the trash bin when left unsupervised for too long, a staple of his playful, naughty nature. In addition to his humorous antics, he loved car rides through the serene countryside of San Antonio, which brought him and Jocelyn countless cherished adventures together.
One of Jocelyn's most treasured memories was that blissful day he first came home. Their bond deepened over shared moments spent together, with Stevie often lounging lazily alongside his mom or sunbathing in warm sunlight. His quirky personality and endearing habits made him a central figure in Jocelyn’s life, filling their home with love and laughter.
Stevie leaves behind his devoted mom, Jocelyn, and his dear sister, Susie. His ability to connect with everyone around him was remarkable; he sought affection from anyone willing to dote on him. Known affectionately as "my soul dog," Stevie played an irreplaceable role in his mother’s life, ensuring she was never alone and showering her with unconditional love.
As we remember Stevie Ignacio Nieto, let us celebrate the joyous moments he gifted to all he encountered. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for the love and light he brought into the world.
