With a heart as loving as the most loyal companion and a spirit as playful as a breeze on a warm summer day, Samual James Rohn—fondly known as Sam—graced the world with his presence from July 24, 2010, until he departed on April 2, 2026. This beloved Shih Tzu, draped in the softest coat of white and black, was not just a pet but a cherished member of his family, a constant source of joy and comfort.
Sam was a beacon of happiness and unwavering devotion, embodying the very essence of what it means to be a faithful friend. His eyes sparkled with a gentle plea when he would sit up begging for the treasured attention of his best friend Jim. Their bond was unbreakable—wherever Jim went, Sam was always close by, a shadow of love and loyalty. Together, they shared countless adventures, with Sam's favorite being the exhilarating motorcycle rides that brought a fresh rush of wind and freedom to his day.
Life with Sam was a series of joyous moments, from the simple delight of savoring his beloved chicken treats to the tender comfort of curling up on the bed beside Jim, his trusted human. His presence was a steady, comforting warmth through all seasons of life, a silent vow of friendship and love. Alongside him was Sadie, his fur sibling, their family woven together by companionship and care.
Today, we remember and honor Sam's bright light—a soul that was always happy, endlessly playful, and deeply loyal. Though he has taken his final rest, the imprint of his gentle paws remains forever etched in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy is one of pure love, a reminder that the greatest gifts come wrapped in fur and delivered with a wagging tail. Rest peacefully, dear Sam, your journey may have ended, but your spirit will forever run free in the fields of memory and love.
