From the moment he joined our family on December 10, 2020, Ruger made an indelible mark on our hearts. His personality was a blend of exuberance and gentleness, with a touch of playful mischief. Ruger had an uncanny ability to communicate in his own unique way, often engaging in what felt like conversations as he talked and nudged for attention. He had a special routine of insisting on being by his loved ones, whether it was sitting sweetly at their feet or sleeping right by the bedroom door, ever-watchful and protective.

Ruger’s adventures were filled with love and happiness, particularly during his visits to Nene’s house, where he thrived in an environment bursting with affection. He relished the simple pleasures of life, from crunching on his squeaky bones to playing fetch in the yard. One of his quirky pastimes included a delightful game where he let others step on his feet, only to respond with playful bites at their shoes—a testament to his spirited and playful character.
