Rose Adams

Rose Adams, a cherished Netherland Dwarf Rabbit, brought immeasurable joy and love to her family during her time with us. Born on February 11, 2016, in Houston, Texas, Rose quickly found her forever home in the welcoming embrace of her parents, Carolyn and Richard, and her beloved big sister, Robbie. From the moment she hopped into their lives, she carved out a special place in their hearts.

Despite weighing only 2 pounds, Rose possessed a larger-than-life personality that commanded attention and evoked smiles. She embraced her role as the Boss of the household, often reminding her family of her presence with playful antics and affectionate gestures. Rose delighted in cuddling with her Momma and Daddy, showering them with kisses that were exclusively reserved for them. She had a unique way of ensuring that her family recognized her authority, whether it was playfully demanding her special crunchies or instigating games that showcased her spirited character.

Every morning, as Richard enjoyed his coffee, Rose would pick at the rug, setting the scene for their playful chase. When he attempted to redirect her attention, she would dashed around the center ottoman, enticing him to join in her fun. With a fearless spirit, she would stand her ground against the vacuum, even playfully attacking the Swiffer, not caring for the bigger, looming sounds around her. There were moments captured in photographs of Rose with a Swiffer perched proudly on her head, a testament to her vibrant personality and the laughter she brought into their home.

Rose also found joy in sparking playful games with her big sister, Robbie. They shared an endearing tradition filled with laughter, pretending to "scratch each other's eyes out" as they played the “I’m gonna get you” game. These moments exemplified how deeply intertwined Rose was within the fabric of their family life. Her spirited nature greatly shaped their daily routines, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.

Rose leaves behind her loving Mom, Carolyn; her devoted Dad, Richard; and her spirited Big Sister, Robbie. She also fondly regarded her two doggie cousins, Evie and Coltin, who, despite their size, were often left in playful fright by the fearless little rabbit.
