It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved Rayo Rodriquez, who made his final journey on October 23, 2025, at the tender age of eight. Born on April 6, 2017, Rayo was not just a pet; he was the cherished baby of the family, who brought boundless joy and unconditional love into our lives.

Rayo was a loyal and protective companion, and his sweet nature endeared him to all who crossed his path. He had a special bond with his dad, often the light of his life during their memorable days together, especially when running at Sibley Nature Trails. Those joyous runs, filled with the sound of his paws on the trail and the happiness in his heart, will forever echo in the memories of those who witnessed them.

His love for family was beautifully showcased during those cherished road trips to Dimmitt, where every mile brought excitement and anticipation. Rayo seemed to know when storms were brewing, and he would often seek shelter by hiding under Danelly’s bed, a testament to his gentle spirit and the comfort he sought in the presence of loved ones.

Though he loved his mom dearly, there was an undeniable bond that he shared with his dad. Rayo's excitement truly peaked during grilling outings, where he could savor his favorite treats: ice pops and steak snacks. The sight of him eagerly watching, hoping for a morsel, was a delightful reminder of the simple pleasures that brought us all together.

Rayo may have departed this world, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of Miguel, Anita, Ulysses, and Danelly.
