Perseus Moody

Perseus, affectionately known as Percy, passed away suddenly on January 26th, 2026. A beautiful blue rabbit, Percy was adored by all. To know him was to love him and he had so much love to give in return. From the day he came home Percy was full of curiosity and joy. The first thing he did was cuddle into the bed with us. As he grew, he loved to explore his new home, even when that meant getting into things he shouldn't. He quickly learned he was very good at jumping, and there was no stopping him after that. If he thought he could get to it, he was gonna try and usually succeed. Still, his favorite activity remained cuddling in bed and watching TV or taking a nap. *Even in the middle of the night, he'd find infinitely creative ways to escape his enclosure, just to come up in the bed and sleep with us. He was happiest spending time with his people.* He didn't care much for toys, though he had an abundance of them. Food was favorite form of entertainment. He loved his wobble teaser and could spend hours getting treats out of it if you let him. He also found joy in his carrot puzzle and stacking cups of which he was very good at throwing. On special occasions his favorite treats included bananas and strawberries or the occasional leafy green. We will miss his little kisses and grooming sessions. He loved to groom us and we would happily sit and let him work for as long as he liked. We'll miss his zoomies and his flops that always let us know he was in a good mood. We'll even miss his little huffs when he was annoyed. We will miss our TV watching sessions where he'd sit on our chests for pets. Most of all, we will miss him. Our perfect quirky little guy. The corner of the bed will always be yours Percy.
