Pepper Hale

May 31, 2013 — June 14, 2026

🐾 In Loving Memory of Pepper Born: ~May 31, 2013, Passed: June 14, 2026, Pepper came into this world in the most fragile way — found in a box by a dumpster with his sister, barely born, fighting for a chance. Thanks to the kindness of Priscilla’s sister, he was rescued, held, fed, and given the one thing every soul deserves: a family.

From that moment on, Pepper was loved beyond measure. He grew into the most loyal companion anyone could ask for. He was Preston’s best friend — his therapy dog, his comfort, his constant. From the time Preston was just five or six years old, Pepper slept beside him every single night. He was the steady heartbeat in the room, the quiet protector who made sure Preston never felt alone. Through every high and every heartbreak, Pepper was there. He didn’t just walk beside Preston… he carried him through some of life’s hardest moments.

Pepper loved the simple joys that made his world bright: chasing a ball, splashing in the water, running at the deer lease, and being right in the middle of every family moment. He was playful, gentle, goofy, and full of heart. But more than anything, Pepper was a protector. He watched over his family with a loyalty that never wavered. He knew when someone needed comfort, when someone needed space, and when someone needed him to lay his head in their lap and just be there.

For thirteen beautiful years, Pepper gave unconditional love — the kind that changes a family forever. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories, pawprints on every heart he touched, and a bond with Preston that will never fade. Though his body is gone, his spirit will stay with the family he adored… in the laughter, in the stories, and in the quiet moments where his presence is still felt. Run free, Pepper. Thank you for loving us so well. 🐾💙
