Pandora Laura Escobar, affectionately known by many names—Ruff Tuff, Pretty Girl, Panda, or simply Pandy—was a beloved black and tan Schnoodle who touched the hearts of her family with her unique blend of sass and sweetness. Born on May 24, 2014, Pandora came into her humans' lives at just 9 months old when she was adopted from the SPCA, bringing joy and warmth that would last for nearly twelve wonderful years until her passing on April 29, 2026.
From the start, Pandora was a loyal and loving companion, though never shy about letting her bossy and demanding nature shine through. She showed her affection in countless ways: with sloppy kisses, standing tall on her humans to claim attention, and even crying out when she felt overlooked—always making sure her voice was heard and her love unmistakably felt. She was more than a pet; she was her humans' best friend, devoted companion, and emotional support.
Pandora’s days were filled with beloved routines and treasured moments. She loved sitting outside, soaking in the world around her, and had a notorious talent for stealing food—often barking out her demands that no one could resist. Her favored treats were pup cups, greenies, peanut butter, and an occasional indulgence of human food, which she cleverly nabbed whenever a chance arose. Her fondness for naps knew no bounds, and she could often be found curled up on blankets, mom and dad’s bed, or making herself comfortable wherever you left clothes on the floor.
Some memories sparkle brightly: sneaking a corn dog, swiping blankets, proudly winning a Halloween contest, swimming with joy, and tenderly licking her human sister Sophia when she was brought home from the NICU—a small guardian's gesture of love and welcome. Pandora even had a special relationship with her insulin shots, greeting them with enthusiasm because each one came with a treat—a ritual that reflected her brave and trusting spirit.
Her family—Luis (dad), Monica (mom), and her sisters Sophia, Ariana, and Briana—were the center of her world. She stood by their side as their food vacuum and a source of unfailing comfort, offering warmth and love whenever they needed it most.
Pandora's presence lit up her family’s lives in a way only a truly special dog can. Her spirit, full of life and personality, remains forever embedded in the hearts she touched. Rest well, sweet Pretty Girl; your paw prints are forever etched in the fabric of your family’s love.
