It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Pancho Kiko, a charming brown and white Chihuahua who brightened our lives from January 2025, until March 11, 2026. In his short time with us, Pancho Kiko left a permanent paw print on our hearts, embodying the very essence of joy, drama, and unconditional love.
Pancho Kiko was not just a pet; he was a spirited bundle of energy, living life to the fullest despite his small stature. He proudly believed he was as mighty as a lion, barking fiercely at anyone who dared to lean on his cherished humans. His dramatic flair made every day feel like an adventure, as he rushed around the house, leaving us in awe of his endless energy. We often wondered if he ever truly got tired or if he merely enjoyed the thrill of being the largest little dog in our world.
Spoiled in the best possible way, Pancho Kiko had a special knack for making his demands known, especially when it came to affection. If anyone but him found their way into his human's arms, he would express his jealousy with a playful bark or a huff. Yet, nothing compared to the serene moments when he nestled into his human mom’s arms, soaking in her warmth and love. Those close cuddles were his favorite retreat, where all was right in his world.
He had a zest for life that included thrilling adventures to the lakeside, where he'd splish-splash through water with glee. Camping trips created cherished memories where you could always find him basking in the sun atop his human mom's legs, perfectly content as the warmth enveloped him. His selective gourmet palate was quite impressive, as he savored bacon, apples, and even carrots, proving that joy can be found in the simplest pleasures.
When Pancho Kiko wasn’t gallivanting about, he was engaged in his own version of demolition—his bed was often a target for his exuberant play, only for him to realize at bedtime that he had created a predicament for himself. Such was the charm and mischief of our dear Pancho Kiko.
He leaves behind the loving Leal Picasso family, along with his fur partner Monita, who will forever cherish the countless moments shared in love and laughter. His beautiful spirit shone brightly through acts of affection, often demonstrated by joyful jumps and loving licks, reminding us daily of the love that pets so freely give.
In a poignant final gesture of love, Pancho Kiko chose to wait until his entire family was home before peacefully slipping away in his human mom’s arms. His departure has left a void that cannot be filled, but we take solace in the incredible impact he had on our lives. His ability to show pure love and companionship will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Pancho Kiko, you played a monumental role in our lives, and your presence will always be felt in the laughter and joy you brought into our home.
