Maleficent Delgadillo

Dec 14, 2011 — Oct 9, 2026

Maleficent Delgadillo, lovingly known as Mally and Puppy Princess, passed away on October 9, 2026. Born in December 2011, Mally was a black and white Pit Terrier whose life was filled with devotion, adventure, comfort, and joy. She was never just a dog to her family. She was a healer, a constant companion, a guard dog, an adventure buddy, and a friend to anyone willing to offer her a treat.

Mally joined her family on Valentine’s Day, when she was delivered to her mom’s workplace by her dad to help carry her through the loss of her mother. From that moment on, Mally became a source of comfort and love in a way that changed everything. She opened her family’s hearts and minds to just how deeply a pet could be loved, and how powerfully that love could heal.

She was known for her beautiful soul, her loyalty, and her warm, friendly nature. Mally had the most expressive eyes, and somehow always seemed to know exactly when someone needed a pet, a hug, or a gentle lick. She connected with people in a way that felt instinctive and pure, offering quiet understanding and steadfast presence. She was gentle at heart, but she also knew how to make herself the center of attention, especially when visitors came by and she decided it was time for everyone to focus on her.

Mally loved life’s pleasures and embraced them with enthusiasm. She adored adventures with her mom and dad, especially hikes, waterfalls, and any outing that gave her the chance to be by their side. She traveled across the United States with her family and made lasting memories everywhere she went. She hiked Multnomah Falls and drank from the Falls of the Wind in Washington State. One of her family’s unforgettable memories came when she and Dad got lost on a hike. He looked at her and said, “Get us back to the car.” Mally turned around and led them straight there, a perfect reflection of her intelligence, loyalty, and the trust they shared.

She loved the water, the park, and anywhere squirrels could be found. Camping, however, was not for her. At home, Mally most loved sleeping with her family, especially curled up with Dad. She was full of personality, from launching herself into Dad’s arms to licking her lips whenever she wanted a treat. She had a mischievous side too: tearing up paper, stealing meatball subs, and making sure no snack or meal, especially anything Dad cooked, went unnoticed. Her tastes were famously refined and delightfully bougie, with favorites that included A5 Japanese Wagyu ribeye, raw beef short rib, Cheeto Puffs, and just about anything prepared by Dad.

Mally leaves behind her loving parents, Marcos Delgadillo and Francia Delgadillo, who cherished her as a beloved daughter and companion. She also leaves behind her pet siblings, Zeus, Bonnie, and Athena, who shared in the life and home she helped make so full of love.

Mally’s family will remember her as their healer, their loyal protector, their gentle soul, and their unforgettable Puppy Princess. Her paw prints remain on every adventure, every quiet moment of comfort, and every lesson she taught about love, loyalty, and companionship. She was deeply treasured, and she will be missed beyond words.
