Luna Reeves

With heavy hearts, we share the story of a beloved feline friend who filled our lives with joy and warmth. Luna Reeves, affectionately known as "Luna Bug/Stink Cat," left this world on November 12, 2025, at the ripe age of eighteen. Born on September 12, 2007, Luna lived a life full of playful antics and heartfelt moments that lit up our days.

Luna was not just a cat; she was a vibrant spirit, a loyal companion with a personality that shone brightly. Playful and loving, she brought laughter to her family and friends. Her playful nature was a constant source of entertainment, as she found joy in all her cat toys and anything that dared to move. We remember how she would stealthily hide, only to pop out and surprise us, always enjoying the thrill of the chase—at least, when it suited her terms!

Her fondness for affection was unmatched. Luna had a unique way of communicating her desires, often rubbing against someone’s leg and meowing until she received her well-deserved pets. She had a particular fondness for curling up comfortably in a chair, on the couch, or snuggling in bed with her beloved mom, Mary. Those quiet moments shared were filled with love and a bond that could only be forged between a cat and her human.

Food was another passion of Luna's life, as evidenced by her love affair with delectables bisque, particularly the chicken-gravylicious crunch “squeeze ups.” Every meal was a delightful adventure, a tasty exploration that brought her bliss.

Luna's journey was supported by the love of her family and friends, including her devoted mom, Mary Reeves, her aunt, Cathy Tremmel, and dear friends and care takers, Tonya Whitaker and Debra Weatherford. They were blessed to share in her playful spirit and are left to cherish the countless memories created throughout her years.

As we say goodbye to Luna Bug, we celebrate the joy she brought into our lives. Her playful nature, loving demeanor, and loyalty will forever remain in our hearts. Rest peacefully, dear Luna. You were, and always will be, a treasured member of our family.
