Lulu Mendoza

It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lulu, a cherished member of the Mendoza family, who left us on June 29, 2026. Lulu entered this world on January 26, 2015, and from her first joyful days, she was so much more than just a beloved Shih Tzu; she was a loving companion, a source of laughter, and an irreplaceable comfort to those who were lucky enough to call her family.

From the moment Rafael and Reyna began their journey together in marriage, Lulu was by their side, making every day brighter and every moment more precious. Her spirit was playful and endlessly friendly—an embodiment of loyalty and joy. Lulu greeted her family with boundless excitement, her playful energy lighting up the Mendoza home. Whether she was stealing socks right off someone's feet, curling up for a nap on her favorite rug, or simply wagging her tail with pure delight, Lulu's presence brought happiness beyond measure.

She had her favorite treats—never one to turn down a piece of bologna or her beloved dog biscuits. For Lulu, life was about simple pleasures and the purest love. She knew the true meaning of adventure, always ready to travel anywhere her humans went. As soon as bags were being packed, Lulu was ready to go along for the next journey with them.

Lulu had a knack for showing love in her own special way, from her excited greetings to her playful antics. She leaves behind her devoted humans: dad Rafael, mom Reyna, brother Rafael Jr, and sister Silvana. Their lives, so deeply intertwined with hers, are forever changed, and her paw prints will remain forever on their hearts.

Brown and white, with that unmistakable Shih Tzu charm, Lulu was more than a pet—she was a beloved member of the family. Her warmth and playful personality touched everyone who met her.
