It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved furry companion, Kitty Boy, who crossed the rainbow bridge on February 26, 2026. He adopted the bates family November 15, 2011, Kitty Boy graced their lives with his playful spirit, unwavering loyalty, and infectious humor.
Kitty Boy was more than just a pet; he was a heartwarming presence in their home. His playful antics brought laughter every day, whether he was meowing insistently for a taste of their dinner or amusing them with his curious explorations. It was impossible not to smile when watching him beg for human food, his bright eyes sparkling with hope and mischief.
He had a special affinity for enjoying life’s simple pleasures. Kitty Boy adored curling up beneath the tree for a nap. He found endless joy in drinking and playing in toilet water, an endearing quirk that made them all chuckle. And how could they forget his love for roasted chicken and tuna-flavored meals? Every mealtime was a celebration, a feast that he approached with eager enthusiasm.
Kitty Boy brought a unique charm into their lives, his personality shining through in every tender moment. He was always there, ready to offer his loyal companionship, whether it was during quiet evenings or the hustle and bustle of daily life. Giving him massages on his back became one of their cherished rituals, a time they both looked forward to, as the purrs that resonated from him were music to their ears.
As they gather their memories of Kitty Boy Bates, they hold close to their hearts the joy, laughter, and love he shared with them. He will forever remain a cherished member of the Bates family, leaving behind paw prints on their hearts that will never fade.
