Kilo Ramirez

Kilo Ramirez, lovingly known as Kilo, Kilito, Tatas, and Fat Boy, passed away on September 11, 2026. Born on November 10, 2021, this beautiful grey Bullie came into his family’s life at just three months old and, from that moment on, brought joy into their home in a way that can never be forgotten.

Kilo was a disciplined, remarkably smart, and deeply verbal boy whose personality filled every room he entered. He had a way of making himself understood, especially when it came to telling on Eric if breakfast or water was running late. Those moments became some of the most treasured memories of all, as if Kilo was sharing the details of his whole day, even if that day had mostly been spent sleeping. He was kind, gentle, and full of love. So devoted to his family was Kilo that he never needed a leash; his heart was always with the people he loved, and he never wanted to be far from them.

He loved life’s simple pleasures with his whole heart. Kilo loved the water, trips to Grandma’s, and his squeaky toys. He was enthusiastic about just about anything edible, though vegetables were firmly rejected and quickly spit right back out. He also had a mischievous streak that made everyone laugh. If Eric stepped away for even a moment, he might return to find his food mysteriously gone. Food left on the counter was never entirely safe either. These little antics, so full of personality, are now among the many memories his family will hold close.

Kilo showed his love in tender, unforgettable ways. He would pick up a toy, or whatever he found on the floor, and bring it over as a token of affection. He welcomed everyone, even children, with gentleness and trust, allowing himself to be petted and adored. To be loved by Kilo was to feel something pure and steady. Waking up to him each morning was a gift, and his presence made ordinary days feel warmer, softer, and more complete.

He loved comfort and companionship. Kilo’s favorite places to sleep were Eric’s bed, the couch, or anything soft and cozy. He loved going on trips, and the beach was his favorite place of all. More than anything, though, Kilo loved being with Eric. That bond was the center of his world. Eric was his best friend, his companion, his brother, his soulmate, and Kilo needed nothing more than to be by his side.

Kilo leaves behind a family who loved him completely: his mom, Cynthia Ayala; his brother and best friend, Eric Ramirez; his sister, Skylar Ramirez; and Jojo, Skylar’s boyfriend. He also leaves behind his beloved pet siblings, Pumkin Pie, Apple Pie, Cherrie Pie, and Arya, with whom he shared the home and love that meant so much to him. He loved all his siblings, human and animal alike, and his place among them was precious.

Kilo was more than a pet. He was the family’s soulmate, their blood, their protector, their happiness, and, in so many ways, their everything. His gentle spirit, loyal heart, funny habits, and endless love leave an ache that words can scarcely hold. Yet his memory will live on in every squeaky toy, every beach trip, every soft place on the couch, and every morning that begins with the remembrance of his faithful, loving presence.
