Kevin Hagins

October 1, 2010 — November 25, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we gather to remember the life of our cherished furry companion, Kevin, who left us peacefully in his sleep on November 25, 2025. Born on October 1, 2010, Kevin graced our lives for an incredible 14 years, a joy and comfort to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

The journey with Kevin began in October of 2011 when we welcomed him into our family as a vibrant one-year-old. From the moment he walked through our doors, it was clear that he had a unique spirit, full of love and warmth that would enrich our lives immeasurably. Our home was instantly filled with the sound of his happy paws—his presence radiated a sense of joy that was contagious.

Kevin was more than just a pet; he was a beloved family member, adored deeply by Danny and Judy. His affectionate nature was matched only by his adventurous spirit. We think back fondly on the countless walks around our neighborhood, where Kevin became a familiar face. While my name may have faded into the background, Kevin's charm made him a local celebrity—everyone knew his name, and everyone loved him. Those walks were filled with tail wags, playful barks, and the occasional stop to greet his many admirers.

As the years rolled on, we shared laughter, comfort, and the simple pleasures of each day. However, as life often brings challenges, we faced the heart-wrenching news of Kevin’s diagnosis—a tumor on his spleen, with cancer that had spread to his liver. Despite this difficult battle, our brave boy held onto his spirit, bringing joy and love to our lives for an additional two months. Even in his struggles, Kevin reminded us every day of the strength of loyalty and love, traits that will forever remain etched in our hearts.

Today, as we say our final goodbye to our beloved buddy, we carry the memories of the moments shared—the gentle nudges for attention, the comforting cuddles on quiet evenings, and the bright spark in his eyes that could light up even the darkest of days. Though his physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit will forever live on in our hearts.

We take solace in the belief that Kevin is now resting peacefully at the Rainbow Bridge, where there is no pain, only endless fields to roam, and a reunion with those who have loved him throughout his life. Kevin, dear friend, you will be sorely missed, but your love will continue to resonate within our family. Danny and Judy cherish every moment we spent with you. Rest easy, sweet Kevin.
