Honey Lewis

November 15, 2012 — November 26, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Honey, who left us on November 26, 2025, at the age of 13. Born on November 15, 2012, Honey was more than just a pet; she was an irreplaceable member of our family, a loyal companion with a personality that lit up our lives.

Honey came into our lives as a spirited puppy, embodying the essence of an alpha female with a boundless zest for life. Her feisty nature made her unforgettable, from the first day when she mischievously tore up the couch, prompting our son to exclaim in disbelief, "Oh no, I think she is evil!" Those early antics only hinted at the many delightful memories we would create together.

Known for being extremely loyal, Honey's protective instincts were unmatched. There was a moment when she bravely charged into the garage to confront a would-be thief, chasing them off and into their vehicle. Honey’s fierce devotion to her family ensured we always felt secure in her presence.

With an undeniable charisma, Honey had a way of demanding attention like no other. Her warm and demanding nudges for petting were always accompanied by an unmistakable sparkle in her eyes that drew everyone in. She thrived on affection and reveled in each moment spent basking in love and attention from her family.

Honey had her favorite hobbies that brought her immense joy. She adored going for long walks, galloping through the snow, and finding the coziest spots to lay down. Her love for food led her on countless adventures into the kitchen cabinets, especially when a loaf of bread was within reach.

She shared her home with her loving fur siblings—Diesil, Dug, LD, Kyle, and Ludwig—having established a bond filled with playful antics and sharing of precious moments. Those paw prints will forever remain etched in the fabric of our lives.

Honey is survived by her cherished humans: Trek, Shona, Kirk, Emaly, and Randy. Each one of us carries the imprint of her loyal heart, vibrant spirit, and the beautiful moments we shared. She may have left this world, but the love and memories she instilled in our hearts will continue to resonate for years to come.

As we mourn her absence, we celebrate the remarkable soul that Honey was—a true companion, our protector, and an irreplaceable source of joy. Rest in peace, sweet Honey Lewis; your spirit will forever remain with us, and we will always love you.
