Heidi Jo Vogler joined the family in 2014 and carried herself as if she had always belonged, woven into the fabric of the Vogler name from the very beginning. From day one, she claimed her place without hesitation and never looked back.
Heidi participated in every Vogler tradition and activity with full commitment. She coached dribbling techniques, supervised mule rides, led mountain walks, and maintained a well documented appreciation for glorious air conditioning. She understood priorities.
If asked, Heidi would explain that she bore the significant responsibility of raising the younger animals in the household. It was a duty she tolerated begrudgingly, with visible patience and unmistakable superiority. Despite her firm standards and discerning eye, they adored her completely.
Heidi is preceded in death by her puppies, including Han Solo, who passed in 2025; Tito, her older dog brother; Daniel, her younger cat brother; Victoria, her beloved dog napper; and many others fortunate enough to have joyfully interacted with her.
She is survived by her human family: Sherrie Vogler, whom she adored following from room to room; Cody Vogler, whose side she rarely left on rides and adventures; Emilee Vogler, whom she respected for bringing her home and later forgave for leaving her for college; and Mason Vogler, for whose basketball skills she accepts no responsibility but loved him anyway.
In her animal family, she is survived by her brother, Mercedes Benz Reed Vogler, and her sister, Sophee Grace Vogler. Her extended family includes A$AP Roxxy Vogler, the persistently enthusiastic Golden Retriever whose presence was equally annoying and endearing; Dino Saur Vogler, the steady thief of dog beds; Outlaw, a cat whose preference for silence and solitary affection mirrored her own; Suki Lynn Vogler, a cat whose love was demonstrated through earned proximity; and Oscar Meyer, born a cat, her proudly breed confused grand dog who appreciated every shared meal.
Heidi will be walking the most beautiful ponds, carefully inspecting pine cones, and enjoying a perfectly climate controlled eternity until she is reunited with her family.
