It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gerald Gonzales, our beloved fur baby, who left us too soon on January 4th, 2026. Born on June 18th, 2024, Gerald graced our lives with his affectionate nature, goofy personality, and an insatiable love for food.
From the moment he trotted into our world, having been picked up as a kitten from Brandon's hands, Gerald captured our hearts. His affection was profound, often shown in his delightful habit of throwing his head into our palms, urging us to pet him. He found joy in the most simple things, like play fighting and making biscuits on our laps, an endearing ritual that warmed our spirits. Wherever the sun rays streamed through the windows, there would be Gerald, basking in the warmth and soaking up the happiness that life offered.
His quirky personality brought endless laughter and unforgettable memories. Whether it was stealing a sandwich when no one was watching or sniffing unfamiliar objects with an adorably quizzical expression, every day with Gerald was filled with surprises. His silly antics made every moment feel special—a goofy dance amidst a pile of discarded cardboard, or the sheer joy he exhibited when indulging in his favorite snacks, like garden salsa sunchips, salmon, and Churu's.
Gerald shared his days with his beloved pet siblings, Ally, Dizzy, and Courage, who will forever feel the absence of his playful spirit. He was deeply cherished by a close-knit family, including Brandon, Desiree, Nathen, and Pelon, all of whom hold dear the loving memories of their time together.
Though Gerald's time with us was short, his impact was immeasurable, filling our hearts with warmth and unforgettable moments. He was more than a pet; he was family. As we say goodbye to our dear Gerald, we carry forward the joy he gave us, knowing that he will forever remain a part of us, living on in our hearts and memories.
