Doss Moe

In 2013, a rambunctious pup came bounding into our lives, bringing joy and filling a space in our hearts we never even knew was empty. For nearly fourteen years, Doss gave our family unwavering loyalty, warmth, and steady companionship.

Doss was an ever-present shadow. Wherever he was in the house, you could be certain his family was never far behind. He welcomed each day with boundless affection and was an incredible comforter- steady, anchoring constant who brought quiet peace and comfort through every season of change.

Doss fiercely loved and protected his kids, chased life with the spirited heart of a true hunter, and never turned down the simple joy of a Starbucks pup cup.

He was far more than a dog; he was a friend, guardian, and anchor. It is impossible to capture in words the full breadth of the mark he left on our lives, but the devotion he shared will remain woven into our family forever.

Doss is lovingly remembered and missed beyond measure by his humans: Marie and Jered; and Jonathan, Caroline, Grace, Zoey, and Kit.

He also leaves behind his four-legged companions: Remington, his German Shorthaired Pointer hunting buddy, and Pepper, the PomChi "mini-me" whom Doss patiently showed the ropes and taught how to be part of the pack.
