Cinco Woodruff

July 16, 2015 — January 15, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved feline companion, Cinco Woodruff, who left us on January 15, 2026. Born on July 16, 2015, Cinco was a delightful presence in our home, bringing joy and warmth to our lives as only a cherished pet can.

Cinco's journey began in a rather fortuitous manner when she was rescued from her feral existence. One fateful day, a concerned neighbor knocked on our door to inform us that a timid cat was seeking shelter beneath our car. This act of kindness led to her incorporation into our family, where she swiftly claimed her place as our fifth cat, hence the name 'Cinco'.

Her playful spirit was evident in her interactions, especially with her fellow furry siblings, Beetle and Spookie. She delighted in the company of other cats, showcasing an energetic and lively personality that captivated us all. Cinco also possessed a unique quirk; her favorite spot to slumber was atop the dining room table—a seemingly regal perch from which she surveyed her domain.

In our shared memories, one stands out above all—the tender moment when she first granted permission for gentle pets, her trust signifying the bond we would form. Though she never allowed us to pick her up, Cinco expressed her affection in her own special way, often waking us at the early hour of 3 AM to solicit warmth and loving caresses.

A true gourmand at heart, Cinco relished the taste of Temptation treats, a snack that never failed to bring her to life in joyous leaps and bounds. Her playful disposition and charming antics remained a source of endless amusement, and her presence enriched our lives in ways that words can scarcely capture.

As we reflect on her spirited life, we are reminded of the immeasurable love that pets bring into our homes. Cinco’s journey may have been brief, but her legacy will endure in our hearts and in the joyful moments we shared. She will forever be remembered as a cherished member of the Woodruff family, leaving behind a profound sense of gratitude for the time we were fortunate to spend with her.
