It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Chloe, affectionately known as LocoMoko and lovingly dubbed "the Monster." This sweet Maltese joined our lives on July 21, 2009, becoming a cherished part of our family. Chloe departed this world on January 20, 2026, leaving behind an indelible legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
Chloe's journey with us began in 2010, when her human saw an ad for a rehoming opportunity. At just 19 years old, her dedicated human made sacrifices, using her college refund to bring home a tiny bundle of joy. From that very first meeting, it was clear that Chloe was destined to be family. This little ball of white fur quickly became inseparable from her human, infusing joy and warmth into every day.
With a heart as vibrant as her playful spirit, Chloe had an extraordinary knack for making those around her smile. Known for her enthusiastic greetings and boundless energy, she loved every moment spent in her family's company. Whether she was vying for tasty morsels at mealtime or ready for an exhilarating adventure on walks, her zest for life was contagious. Chloe was also a master of shenanigans, with a mischievous flair for raiding the trash when no one was looking, leading to her endearing nicknames.
Her most treasured companion was a stuffed animal she affectionately referred to as her "friend." Chloe could spend hours engaging in spirited games of tug-of-war, showcasing her playful side. Though she had peculiar tastes—indulging in all foods except for fruits and healthy snacks—her culinary adventures brought joy to family meals, especially during those delightful times spent with her beloved grandparents, Mr. Brown and Mrs. Desi.
Among the many beautiful memories shared with Chloe, one shines the brightest: her extravagant 10th birthday celebration. A professional pink photoshoot complete with gold balloons and a delicious cake captured the essence of her spirit, allowing her to bask in love and admiration—a fitting tribute to a life well-lived.
Chloe leaves behind her devoted dad, Cudda, her loving mom, Diana, and her adoring grandparents, Mr. Brown and Mrs. Desi. Alongside them are her three younger siblings, the charming Frenchies—Reign, Rumor, and Speedy—who will miss having their big sister's playful presence. She also leaves behind her cousins, Dallas, Skittles, Khloe, and Bella, who have shared in the joyful moments of her life.
Though Chloe's vision and hearing faded in her later years, her ability to connect deeply with those around her never waned. She found joy in cuddling, sleeping next to loved ones, and showering them with kisses, demonstrating that love knows no boundaries. Through laughter and tears, Chloe remained a steadfast companion, providing comfort and companionship during the various chapters of life.
As we reflect on our time with Chloe, we celebrate her unyielding spirit and the unconditional love that she shared so freely. Whether nestled in a soft dog bed, wrapped in a cozy blanket, or nestled in our hearts, Chloe's memory will forever be a source of warmth, light, and joy. Rest peacefully, sweet LocoMoko; you will be missed beyond measure.
