Bruce Montez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Bruce Montez, who left us on January 3, 2026. Born on April 1, 2015, Bruce's spirited presence filled our lives with joy and laughter from the very first moment he became a cherished member of our family.

Bruce will surely be remembered for his unmistakable voice. Always vocal and quick to engage in playful banter, especially with his mom Angela, he had a way of turning any conversation into a delightful exchange that could light up a room. With a personality that was both playful and sweet, Bruce brought unconditional love to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was, without a doubt, a good dog who embraced everyone with his warmth.

From his antics of play fighting to simply laying down beside us, Bruce delighted in creating cherished moments with his family, particularly with his sister Loralei, who he regarded as his best buddy. He loved nothing more than lounging on the couch, basking in the sun, and participating in life as the ultimate comic relief. His playful nature extended to his mischievous habits, whether he was getting into the trash, stealing socks, or playfully tugging at people with his leash.

Bruce's heartwarming howls filled our home, especially when he was indulging in his favorite treats—peanut butter and “takis,” which he would sneak away with at every opportunity. He found pure joy in playing in the snow and relished the time spent cuddled up with his family.

Though he was affectionately known by many names, including "Brucie" and "Stinky Dog," it was his unique spirit that left an indelible mark on our hearts. Our dear Bruce Montez’s memory will live on through the laughter, love, and countless memories he gifted us. He will be missed dearly by his mom Angela and his sisters Gianna and Loralei. The world is a little dimmer without him, but his playful spirit and loving heart will continue to shine in our memories forever.
