Bourbon Garcia

May 21, 2023 — Jul 20, 2026

With heavy hearts and beautiful memories, we remember Bourbon Garcia—affectionately known as “urban bourbon”—who brought boundless love and laughter into the world from his very first day on May 21, 2023, until his passing on July 20, 2026.

Bourbon’s life was an endless adventure of joy, silliness, and unwavering loyalty. To know Bourbon was to know a spirit both curious and playful, loving and fiercely protective. From the moment Carlos and Isabell welcomed him into their lives as their beloved first son, Bourbon became an irreplaceable part of their family, his little heart bringing light to even the darkest days. He quickly proved himself not just a companion, but a source of comfort and endless affection, forever entwined with the stories and laughter of his cherished home.

Bourbon’s days were filled with the simple joys that meant the most to him: he was always ready for a game of catch, or to play a round of hide and seek, making every corner of the house a place of surprise and delight. Squeaky toys never escaped his attention, often scattered wherever he roamed. Treats, too, were precious treasures—steak and pumpkin seeds were his favorites.

Every memory is filled with Bourbon’s charming quirks—the mischievous twinkle in his eye just before rolling in something irresistibly stinky right after a bath, the acrobatics of standing proudly on the truck mirror, and his cleverness in learning to roll the truck windows down all by himself. He was always quick to defend his humans, springing into action whenever playful antics threatened their peace, taking his role as protector to heart with adorable seriousness.

Beyond his playful antics, Bourbon delighted in the tenderness of life: he loved nothing more than giving plenty of kisses or sneaking a lick of freshly showered legs. Bourbon taught his family that love can be expressed in endless ways, whether in a tail wag, gentle snuggles, or a warm nuzzle to comfort those he loved the most.

Bourbon leaves behind a loving family—his dad Carlos, his mom Isabell, his brother Ezekiel, and his fur sibling Oakley—each of whom carry his memory in their hearts. In every way, Bourbon was a loyal member of the family, always present, always loving, forever missed.

Though Bourbon’s time was far too short, the imprint he left is immeasurable. He brought laughter during moments of struggle, companionship in times of solitude, and warmth that filled every room. His legacy is a testament to the pure, unconditional love that only a beloved companion can offer—one that his family will treasure always.

Rest gently, dear Bourbon. Your family will carry you in their hearts, your memory eternal and your spirit forever playful, loyal, loving, and bright.
