Blue Bell Krevit

November 21, 2018 — January 17, 2026

On a cold winter day in January 2020, Blue Bell’s story began in a cardboard box on the side of the road, alongside her sisters. Even then, she was the protector and the leader of the pack. We brought her and her sister, Savage, into our home, and from that day forward, Blue Bell filled our lives with love, laughter, and loyalty.

Blue Bell came into our lives the same year we moved into our first home—a year that marked the beginning of so many beautiful chapters. She was there when we became husband and wife, and she welcomed two babies into our growing family in 2022 and 2025. Through every milestone, every change, and every joy, Blue Bell was by our side, making our house feel like home.

She carried us through a time of great uncertainty when the world seemed to stand still. During those long days of quarantine, Blue Bell gave us a reason to smile, to get outside, and to keep our spirits up. We played in the parks, went on walks, and found joy in the simple moments—all because of her boundless energy and love.

Blue Bell loved playtime more than anything. Her favorite toy was her rubber frisbee, and she had a signature way of letting you know it was time to play—by smacking your ankle with it until you gave in. She was a track star at heart, and even as the years passed and she grew a little chunky, she could still outrun us all.

Fiercely protective and endlessly loyal, Blue Bell was the best guard dog we could have asked for. Her bark was loud and intimidating, but behind that tough exterior was a gentle soul who just wanted to play and be near her family. She was a true daddy’s girl—always at his heels, running, exercising, and snuggling close.

As a true cattle dog, Blue Bell loved to herd. She tried her best to herd Seymour, the cat, but quickly learned he wasn’t a fur-brother to mess with. Instead, she took to her herding ball, running it up and down the backyard with joy and determination.

Blue Bell passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of January 17, 2026. She leaves behind her litter sister, Savage (“Savvy”), her husky sister, Kiara, and her surly tabby cat companion, Seymour.

Blue Bell was more than a pet—she was family, a protector, and a source of endless joy. Her paw prints will forever remain on our hearts.

Run free, sweet girl. Chase the wind across endless fields, where the sky is always blue and the frisbee never falls. Until we meet again, may your spirit dance in the sunlight and your heart rest in peace.
