Bella Wolf

Born Princess Jasmine’s Pretty Girl Bella, on June 8, 2012, my sweet Bella, a beautiful small chocolate Havanese, left this life on November 1, 2025. She joined me on January 21, 2017 and we have been inseparable ever since. Bella has logged her share of American Advantage Miles; we walked for days along a beach of the Chesapeake Bay on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, we hiked in the Davis Mountains State Park, and in the Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute. She loved to ‘Go’: on foot, in the car, or on an airplane.

Always happy, she greeted each new day with delight. Bella loved unconditionally, forgave instantly, and, except for squirrels, welcomed all visitors with unrestrained enthusiasm. She was my boon companion through good times and sad times; she taught me a lot.

Thankful for her great good health until the last 3 months of her life, I am also thankful for the good care of Dr. Alan Alderson and the staff of Medical Veterinary Services, and our good friends Anne Sparks and Aly Dial, with whom she stayed and played when I was out of town.

Missing Bella terribly, I am also profoundly grateful for every single day we shared.
