With a gentle paw and a wagging tail, we say goodbye to our beloved Alexis Velasquez, known to her humans as Lexi, or pretty girl, a little beige Chihuahua who touched the hearts of everyone she met. Born on January 11, 2009, and leaving us tenderly on April 15, 2026, Lexi’s journey was filled with boundless love, quiet companionship, and endless warmth.
Lexi was more than just a pet; she was a cherished soul given with love by her human’s daughter’s cousin, Chris. From the very start, Lexi made her place known—not as a small dog but as a mighty friend who loved visiting neighbors and friends, spreading joy with each tiny, confident step. Her favorite treat, those three-flavor bones, were always received with sparkling eyes and a happy wiggle, reminding all those around her that simple pleasures can bring the greatest delight.
This brave little Chihuahua found comfort in the softest of places: under a cozy blanket, nestled between the loving legs of her human mom. There, she found safety, warmth, and an unspoken promise of unconditional love—a bond that only a dog and her human can share.
While we mourn the quiet absence of her small paws padding beside us, we celebrate the gentle love she left behind. Lexi leaves behind her devoted human, Subi, who knew her not just as a pet but as her beloved baby and companion.
Though her bark has quieted and her tail no longer wags, the tender memories of Lexi, our sweet pretty girl, will forever echo in the hearts of those who had the honor to love her and be loved by her. Rest well, little one, wrapped in the warmth you so loved, under blankets and in hearts that will never forget you.
