Ace Martinez

Sep 10, 2021 — Jul 11, 2026

Ace Martinez, known affectionately as “Papas,” bounded into the hearts of those who loved him on September 10, 2021, and brought boundless joy until his passing on July 11, 2026. Ace, a remarkable brown and white Australian Shepherd with strikingly unique eyes—one blue and one green-tan—was much more than a cherished pet. He was a beloved companion, a confidant, and above all, an irreplaceable member of his family.

From his earliest days, Ace’s personality shone with a rare light. Playful and loving, yet always alert and brave, he filled every room with tail wags and laughter. His sense of humor was legendary among his family—who could forget the time he was playing and got his head stuck in a basket, or when he’d mischievously sit on Molly’s head just for fun? Ace celebrated life’s little joys uniquely, often shaking his butt in pure happiness that was contagious to all around him.

Though Victor purchased Ace for himself in September 2021, it quickly became clear that Ace’s heart belonged to Janelle. She became his best friend. To Janelle, Ace was more than a pet; he was her baby, a steadfast source of comfort and warmth, whether curled up beside her in sleep or tucked in blankets on quiet afternoons. In his gentle, affectionate way, Ace wove himself deeply into the fabric of daily life.

Ace loved the simple pleasures—a scoop of ice cream, any morsel of food, or the sweet surprise of a cookie. Though he liked kids, he had his own way of retreating for some well-earned solitude when their enthusiasm overwhelmed him, finding peace in hiding spots only he knew.

He leaves behind his loving humans: his mom Janelle, his dad Victor, and his sisters Erelah, Eleia, and the baby—each of whom will forever cherish the years and memories shared with their beloved Ace. His legacy continues, too, through his fur sons, Spots and Rookie, who now carry a little piece of his spirit in their playful lives.

Ace’s time may feel all too brief, but the love he gave and the laughter he inspired will live on in the hearts and stories of those who knew him. With every memory—a happy butt shake, a loving glance from mismatched eyes, the warmth of his body nestled beside his family—Ace reminds us of the depth of connection and unconditional devotion that only a true companion can offer.

Rest peacefully, Ace. You were, and always will be, truly loved.
